Privacy Policy

The short version

You answer questions about a crash. If you qualify and you choose to, you give us your name, mobile number and email. We pass that to one participating law firm or its intake partner so a person can call you. We keep a record of your consent. We use cookies and pixels to measure our advertising. We do not sell your information to data brokers.

What we collect

Answers you give in the check: crash type, your role, when it happened, fault, whether you saw a doctor, the injury, the state, and whether you already have a lawyer.
Contact details you enter: name, mobile number, email.
Consent record: the consent text you saw, the time you agreed, your IP address, and a TrustedForm certificate that records the page as you saw it.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages viewed, the advertisement you arrived from, and identifiers set by advertising platforms (for example Meta, Outbrain, Taboola, OpenAI) in the link you clicked.

How we use it

To connect you with one participating law firm or its intake partner in your state and case type, which is the service you asked for.
To call and text you as described in the consent you gave.
To measure and improve our advertising and this website.
To keep records the law requires, including consent records.

Who we share it with

One participating law firm or its intake partner for your state and case type. They contact you under their own privacy policy once they receive your details.
Service providers who work for us: website hosting and security (Cloudflare), consent certification (ActiveProspect TrustedForm), text and call delivery (Twilio), and analytics and advertising measurement (Meta and the advertising platforms named above). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Authorities when the law requires.

We do not sell your information to data brokers. Passing your details to a participating law firm so it can contact you may count as a "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws, because the firm pays to participate. You can opt out below.

Cookies and pixels

We use a first-party session identifier so the check remembers your answers, and advertising pixels (including the Meta pixel and server-side events) to measure which advertisements work. You can block cookies in your browser; the check still works.

How long we keep it

Consent records for as long as the law requires, generally at least five years. Contact details and answers for as long as needed to provide the service and handle any dispute, then deleted or anonymised. Usage data in aggregate.

Your choices

Stop calls and texts: reply STOP to any text, tell the caller, or email privacy@americaninjurypartners.com.
Access, correct or delete your information: email us. We verify your identity first.
Do not sell or share: email us with "Do not sell or share" in the subject. We will not pass your details to any further law firm.
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Use the email above. Residents of other states with privacy laws have similar rights and can use the same address.

Children

This site is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
